TheGetOutGuide originally came across Cage the Elephant at Danny McNamara's "The Aftershow" when it was being hosted weekly at Sankey Soaps in Manchester, in November 2007. An unsuspecting audience were given the chance to witness a truly erratic, yet accomplished performance.
Since then, the rockers from Bowling Green, Kentucky have grafted their way around the UK music scene, grabbing support slots from the likes of The Pigeon Detectives, The Subways, and The View.
Frequent airplay on Radio 1 and other radio stations has only increased their profile. NME described them as a band to watch out for in 2008.
Make sure you catch them soon in the intimate enviroments of their current tour, big things are surely destined for this band.
